CBD is an acronym for Cannabidiol (Can-a-bid-i-ol), a prominent naturally occurring class of molecules called cannabinoids found in the plant genus Cannabis Sativa L. CBD comprises up to 40% of the plant and is one of over 60 plus compounds found in cannabis. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations and are therefore the most recognized and studied. CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the plant that possesses a wide range of benefits and does not cause a high, unlike THC. Our bodies are made up of an endocannabinoid system and use cannabinoids to maintain healthy cells and according to researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.

No, they are different compounds. CBD and THC are both cannabinoids, but THC produces psychoactive effects causing a drugged symptom commonly known as a “high”. Although all CBD extractions will contain some THC, our CBD hemp plants are selected, cultivated, and processed to eliminate all THC content and are therefore devoid of any psychoactive effects.

Sensitivities vary from person to person. Discretion is advised by and for each individual, based on experiential preference. However, as a loose guideline, 5-20 mg per dose and anywhere from 10-200 mg per day is our recommendation.

We recommend storing your CBD oil in a cool dry place, such as you would store honey. Make sure to shake well before each use. For isolate, we recommend storing in a dry cool place away from direct heat and sunlight. Ensure the cap is closed airtight after each use. Refrigeration is not necessary but may prolong shelf life.

Any substance applied externally or ingested into the human body may affect individuals in different ways. CBD and other phytochemical constituents of hemp are considered to be generally safe and we are not aware of any reports of adverse effects. However, as with any therapeutic, cosmetic, or food product, at the first sign of a reaction or discomfort, use should be discontinued until consultation with your doctor.

With respect to the beneficial properties of CBD, there have been numerous claims made about its positive effects for epilepsy, cancer, dementia, and multiple sclerosis. However, the scientific community has not formed a consensus as to the validity of these claims and we advise anyone to be cautious about their veracity.

To be eligible for a refund, your item(s) must be unused and in their original packaging.
Once we have received your return, we will notify you via email that your return has been received and is undergoing inspection. We will then send you a second email to inform you whether or not your return has been approved and a refund has been issued. Once your return is approved, a refund will be processed back to your original form of payment and will post to your account within thirty days.

If you do not see your refund hit your account right away, don’t panic. Prior to contacting us we ask that you:

• Double check your bank or credit card account.
• Contact bank or your credit card company as it takes several days for a processed credit to be posted to your account
